Founded by a passionate group of students, SSO began with a simple goal: to create meaningful
change. What started as environmental awareness drives quickly revealed deeper community challenges
like child labor, lack of education, and hunger.
Recognizing this urgency, we evolved. In 2021, SSO was officially registered under
the Societies Registration Act, 1860, launching a new era of structured and scalable impact.
We proudly led one of the highest altitude cleanliness drives in India to preserve the fragile
Himalayan ecosystem. Confronted by growing waste on these perilous mountain passes, our dedicated
volunteers braved extreme climates to clear massive amounts of plastic.
